Hi everyone
We have been asked as a team to provide statistics on face to face and non face to face contacts. I dont have a problem with this other than we have been given no definitions and hence everyone including managers cannot agree on a definition. As a pct there is supposed to be a definition on the our website but no one can find it and I have requested this. It also seems to differ between teams within the PCT what the definitions are.
I understand face to face as being direct contact with patient (easy). Non face to face being indirect contact with patient eg T/C to patient. Discrepancy exists as to whether you count referrals for patient, T/C to GP and other disciplines, T/C with family etc
Can anyone give me what definitions you have been given for face to face and non face to face contacts by your trusts? |
